Three featured storytellers from the National Storytelling Festival present their stories, comedy, and music Sunday, Sept. 5 in New Concord.
Bil Lepp, Andy Offut Irwin, and Kim Weitkamp join this year’s event in front of a live audience at the StoryFest Live Radio Show in New Concord.
Following an hour of music by folk Americana singer and songwriter Barefoot McCoy, the national storytellers lineup will also be aired live 2-6 p.m. on WMCO 90.7 and the free WMCO app.
Programming for the festival takes place at Stormont Park, next to New Concord Elementary School.
StoryFest activities include an art and farmers market, morning yoga, worship service, performance by rock band Sacred Turtle, Ohio tellers Teri Lott and Rick Hastings, and the winners of the BigFish Salty Stories contest.
Listen to the radio worship service at 10:30 a.m., local storytellers and storytelling contest at 1 p.m., followed by national storytellers live from Stormont Park from 2-6 p.m. on WMCO.
