The Muskingum University Athletic Boosters Golf Outing scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25, at EagleSticks Golf Club in Zanesville, has been canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic. Muskingum plans to have the golf outing in the summer of 2021.
The University feels this is the proper decision to protect the health and safety of its staff, alumni, participants, sponsors, and the community.
The Muskingum Ball Drop contest will still occur and be streamed live on Facebook at EagleSticks on Sept. 25. It costs $20 per ball with an opportunity to win $2,000 to the person whose ball lands closet to or in the hole.
