The AFCA has chosen an All-America team since 1945. The AFCA’s Division III All-America Selection Committee comprises of head coaches representing each conference from the AFCA’s eight districts. One serves as a district chairman, and another head coach is the chairman of the selection committee. Every coach in each district rank the top players in their districts before the district chairman and the committee chairman determine the team selected.
