The Muskingum University Basketball teams both fell to Baldwin Wallace in an OAC basketball double header at the Recreation Center Saturday, Dec. 12.
The women lost to the Yellow Jackets 70-56, while the men were stung 81-74.
The ladies were led by Jasmine Goings on the night. Goings recorded a double-double in the game with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Muskies shot 30% from the field in the loss and out-rebounded 44-30 by the Yellow Jackets.
The women fall to 1-5 on the year, and will be back in action on Dec. 16 when they travel to Otterbein.
The men were paced by Jarrell Marsh, who put up a game-high 23 points in his second career start. Cody Seiler wasn’t far behind with 15 points. The Muskies shot 51% from the floor, but only made 44% of their free-throws.
The loss puts the Muskies at 3-6 on the season. The men will compete next against Otterbein at home on Dec. 16.
