Fire safety blazes through September 

September is Campus Fire Safety Month.

For the second year in a row the National Fire Protection Association and The Center for Campus Fire Safety joined forces to create a campaign.

They are focusing on fire safety on college campuses. In order to promote through interactive methods, there is a quiz called “what kind of cook are you in the kitchen?”

According to the campus fire safety month website, the goal is to “raise awareness about the dangers of cooking fires among college-aged students who live in on- and off-campus housing.”

The quiz was available from Sept. 1 and can be taken through Sept. 30.

Along with the quiz, the website features many resources related to fire safety and cooking.
