The New Concord Area Board of Trade hosted a Halloween costume contest for village residents during trick-or-treat on Oct. 31.
Children, their parents, and even pets attended to have their pictures taken to see who had the best costume in the village.
President of the New Concord Area Board of Trade, Derrick Gingerich, said the event is a way for the community to come together and have fun.
“It’s a good time for everybody,” said Gingerich. “Kids get to dress up and we get to see some creative ideas. Everybody has a lot of fun.”
The New Concord Area Board of Trade will post photos of each participant on their Facebook page and will allow the public to decide who had the best costume.
